There are always gaps in the world, cracks and spaces that exist or are created between two or more objects. It is possible to view our mental faculties, in particular the way in which we generate ideas and imbibe information, in the same way. Rarely do we consume information or perceive the world in a whole and complete manner. There are always gaps in the world, cracks and spaces that exist or are created between. What could possibly exist in these physical and mental between spaces? They either beg to be filled and made seamless or to be left comfortably open for future things to rest in between them. Amy Potenger and Joseph Nerney attempt, through a drawing based project, to fill a space with a possible outcome whilst also allowing the space between to exist.
